● Guaranteed Performance & Safety: Eliminates risks from reprocessing fatigue, micro-damage, or retained debris from previous use.
● Infection Control: Absolute barrier to cross-contamination and transmission of pathogens (e.g., prions).
● Operational Efficiency: No reprocessing costs, inventory management for loaner sets, or wait times for sterilization.
● Cost Predictability: Converts capital equipment costs into a clear, per-procedure supply expense.
Optimal Flexibility & Strength: The basket wires offer excellent flexibility to navigate tortuous anatomy, combined with high tensile strength to prevent deformation or breakage during retrieval.
Clinical Use
This device is indicated for the capture, mechanical manipulation, and removal of urinary tract calculi (stones) during endoscopic procedures within the upper urinary tract (ureter and kidney). Specific clinical scenarios include:
● Post-Lithotripsy Fragment Extraction: Following laser, ultrasonic, or pneumatic lithotripsy to remove resulting stone fragments.
● Primary Stone Extraction: For the direct removal of smaller, accessible stones without prior fragmentation.
● Stone Relocation/Manipulation: To reposition a stone (e.g., from the kidney to the ureter, or within the renal pelvis) for more effective treatment.
